We stayed in a villa for three nights right on the water during the week. It was nice and quiet. The villa is like brand new. The decor and all amenities are perfect. The hotel staff is very accommodating and they have kayaks and boats available for rent. We rented kayaks. It was nice and quiet here and we are looking forward to come back here sometime. Would love to see the pool and monkey bar once it’s finished being remodeled.
The good: staff is great, very helpful. The location is ideal for all things Homosassa. The property is very well maintained. The less good: the buildings are old and charming however not well insulated. You can hear all your neighbors around you and outside. The doors also cannot be secured from the inside. The non-suite rooms are as basic as possible; not a closet or a microwave. Would we stay again? Yes.
Great old Florida venue right on the river. Several close restaurants. Pool is closed right now but will be rebuilt soon. Monkey Island is right in front of the resort.
These guys know hospitality. They were super flexible and accommodating with us on our bookings. The boat slip and ramp made everything super simple. All of the staff was warm and welcoming and didn't make me feel like I was inconvenienced them. Rooms were what was promised so no complaints there either.
Great vibes at this spot! Cheap drinks and the blue fish dip was Not sure if this was a one off but there was a sworm of bees just chilling at the bar. No one seemed to mind but had me with a head on a swivel! Def coming back next time I'm in town!
Great place to visit. All amenities and local favorites within walking distance. Great scenery and access to the water. Old Florida theme. Good food choices, lodgng is top notch, customer service is great.
Perfect location to see wildlife and the monkeys on the island. Good service, but we were unprepared for certain things. Hairdryer, paper towels and cream and sweetner for the coffee. Bed was a little soft for us. Exhaust fan doesn't work in bathroom and in the shower the hot and cold are backwards. Be aware, with wood floors you hear everything upstairs! Take a nightlight if you want to see in the bathroom at night. Otherwise great...
